Praia Fluvial do Malhadal is a serene river beach located near Proença-a-Nova in central Portugal. Nestled along the Ribeira da Isna, a tributary of the Zêzere River, it offers visitors a tranquil retreat amidst lush vegetation and rugged terrain. 

Key Features:

• Expansive Water Area: The beach boasts a large water expanse, approximately 1 kilometre in length, ideal for swimming and water activities. 

• Fluvifun Water Park: As the first river water park in Portugal’s central region, Fluvifun is equipped with slides, trampolines, and climbing structures, providing entertainment for visitors of all ages. The park operates from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with entry fees during the summer season only. 

• Amenities: Facilities include a bar with a terrace, restrooms, barbecue areas, picnic spots, a children’s pool, and parking. Not all amenities are available all year around.

• Activities: In season, visitors can rent kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. The beach also features inflatables and a small artificial pool for children, making it a family-friendly destination. 

Natural Setting:

Situated at the base of the Serra das Corgas, the beach is surrounded by abundant vegetation and rugged landscapes, offering a peaceful environment for relaxation and nature appreciation.
