Palas, Iasi, Romania

Behind the Cultural Palace in Iasi is the most amazing space that was created in 2012.  There is a beautiful park with lots of open space along with fountains and bandstands. Around the side are plenty of facilities including shops and restaurants, along with an extensive shopping centre.

Although all that sounds like spending lots of money, just going for a walk around the park area or stopping for a picnic is definitely worth it.  In summer it’s hot and beautiful and incredibly popular but even in winter it is a stunning place to visit with no lack in people taking advantage of such a wonderful open space.

It is ideal for all people with plenty of events taking place throughout the year.  I recommend taking a look at their website (see opposite) to read all about it and to find out what’s on.
