Garboavele Village Museum

September, 2018
The Garboavele Village Museum is situated in the Garboavele Forest, a few miles outside the city of Galati. The museum shows how the locals used to live in times past. It is free to enter at the time of writing and the museum is interesting and enlightening. The houses and buildings have all been built and furnished very well and it is all in an incredibly tranquil setting, deep in the wood. There are seats throughout the park and a large pond to sit by and relax.

Ideal for:

  • solo travellers
  • couples
  • picnics
  • short walks

For more information visit the official page for The Village Museum.

Please note that there is limited parking just before the Museum.
