British Museum
August, 2015British Museum, London, England
The British Museum is such an amazing place that you’ll need hours if not days to get around it all! There are so many iconic pieces within the museum that I cannot recommend a visit enough. The Museum is free although you can donate to the upkeep if you wish to, I would also recommend their gift shops as well.
There is always some exhibition or another going on, mostly paying (unless you are a member) but if you don’t wish to extend your budget then the general collections will occupy you enough!
My favourite things to see are the Elgin Marbles, the Rosetta Stone and the little cat mummies!
